Family Gift Boxes
The list below indicates items that are acceptable to the Romanian authorities and which are suitable for inclusion in gift boxes for families.
You may include a card, letter or photo. Your message will be translated by our Romanian team

Please do not put second-hand clothing in gift boxes. New items of underwear and babywear are acceptable. |

Groceries: |
Christmas cake, Biscuits, sweets, chocolate, Coffee, fruit tea. |
Not 'English' tea. |

Personal items: |
Cosmetics, deodorant, Hair shampoo, soap, Toothpaste, tooth brushes, Combs, nail scissors, clippers, Tissues, wet-wipes, First aid items |
Please ensure that bottles are wrapped to reduce the effects of any spillage. |

Sewing items: |
Cotton, pins, needles, Wool, knitting needles |
Pins & needles to be safely wrapped please. |

Toys: |
Small cuddly toys (new) Dolls, Picture books, Toy cars, boats, planes |
No second-hand toys for children under age 3 years. Large or complicated jigsaw puzzles should not be included. |

Stationery: |
Paper, notebooks Pens, pencils, Colouring books, crayons, Pictorial calendars |
Books with a lot of English text are not suitable. |

Meat products Prescription medicines or drugs Alcohol or tobacco Money Clothes Out of date items. |
Please do not include these items. The Romanian authorities can reject the whole consignment if unacceptable items are found. |
We would not expect second-hand items to be included in Gift Boxes. However, items which are in a clean and serviceable condition can be accepted for our normal distribution of aid.
